Who is Eligible for CPR / First Aid Training
The training run by Brisbane First Aid Courses is open to the general public, so there are very few restrictions on who’s allowed to take part. The only restrictions are that participants must:
- Be at least 14 years of age.
- Have signed consent from a parent or guardian if they are under 18.
- Provide a USI number (Unique Student Identifier) registered to their name, which you can obtain from the government USI website.
- Be physically capable of performing 2 minutes of CPR on a training manikin.

HLTAID009 CPR Course in Gold Coast
Although our first aid training includes CPR as part of the course, according to the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, this needs to be renewed every 12 months for your certification to remain current. Fortunately, Brisbane First Aid Courses also offer the HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as a short stand-alone course – allowing you to renew your certification easily. The course is also open to newcomers – the entire first aid course isn’t required to do the training.
HLTAID011 First Aid Course in Gold Coast

This course is a single day session that covers a wide variety of emergency medical situations and how to respond to them. Our HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting course is optimised for teachers and childcare workers.
